    Adorable! My little one was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz this Halloween. Unfortunately, it was cold and rainy where we are :-( .

    I’m sure you have plenty of your own ideas, being a comparative linguistic superpower and all..

    I learned to read at a very young age via sight/sound recognition from The Cat in the Hat.

    An ‘aunt’ read it to me on a nightly basis when I was very young, and I literally used the book as a key to the english language, working out the sounds.
