Mr. Bamford should endorse this site by contributing an article to it! I am sure he has 1200 words on something that he has been meaning to get out. Maybe it didn’t fit into his book projects or other publications wouldn’t run it…I’m sure he has some file sitting on his desk that he hasn’t yet gotten around to.

Hi, Sibel and All, I heard some good news today on the radio. Apparently, Denver's KBDI is launching a publically funded Invesitgative News Operation. They seem to be unafraid of taking the lead, as they recently promoted 911: Press for Truth during their annual fund drive and apparently did pretty well with fundraising from it. I don't know if their new project has major corporate underwriters or not, but it sounded like welcome news for this community.

I have completely given up on our two party system, and do no think that “putting Democrats in power will change things.” I had countless friends vote for Obama, and two of my best friends worked for his campaign in Michigan and Minnesota. I was a Nader supporter from the beginning. But even he wasn’t really pushing for a complete accountability campaign in the fashion that is needed. We need someone that is ready to take on this subject, and inform the people what is really going on in our government.

I just read Phillips’ book (Wealth and Democracy) this summer and it is an amazing read. It’s a thorough indictment of our political and economic system, and I wish the issues he raises were discussed more widely.

Professor and Canadian diplomat, poet, and author Peter Dale Scott who has some (always) well-considered thoughts on the “two-party” system, in which, the property party always wins. His message surmounts pessimism in favor of a guarded optimism IF we are able to do the right thing and use the Constitution to reclaim democracy.

In another video he discusses historical precedents of countries that fell due to the massive movement of wealth from the poor and middle (as in recent US) classes to the super rich. He refers to Kevin Phillips’ book Wealth and Democracy. (amazon.com is always good for reading book reviews, I’ve thought, and so thinks the gentleman at Republican Roundtable who introduces Scott at another speech he was invited to give-nervously,
Scott admitted, as he’d never spoken to repubs before.

Ralph Nader has an idea in his “Only the Super-Rich Can Save Us Now”, and via a great discussion on last month? Amy Goodman show.

The blogs following “Stupor Tues.” video of Scott are interesting in discussion concerning/correction of Scott’s Polish discussion of Walesa/Solidarity as being noble and worthy of emulation.( It’s difficult to outgrow cold-war mentality and not everybody knowss the true history of yet another (apparently) cia/spy-infested “movement”.

As Peter Dale Scott says -he has hope because of two allies in particular: TRUTH AND THE INTERNET.

Sibel’s story is not just about 9/11 and civil liberties, but also the corruption of the U.S. Congress. It really is a wake up call: if you think just putting the Democrats in power will change things, think again.

Last night’s election indicate to me, at least, that the public is seeing through the Democratic Party’s broken promises. Unfortunately, with only one viable alternative in place, voters either stayed home or swung to the Republicans.

If there were a viable alternative, we might be able to bring both parties in line.

It\’s funny, I have been skeptical about everything related to government, especially when it comes to our intelligence agencies and War Planning Department (which includes State Dept., Pentagon, Treasury, White House, Congress), for the past 10 years. I actually stumbled on Sibel\’s story via Scott Horton and Anti-War Radio on the 26th of October and have been engrossed in every podcast, video, article, ect. I can find the past 10 or so days. I find Sibel and John Cole\’s story completely shocking, I cannot believe that I was so ignorant about this subject. I have always thought the official story of 9/11 as told by the establishment was completely bogus, but was so focused on the civil libertarian issues of the Bush administration I gave 9/11 little thought. But it\’s all so completely related. I am so grateful that you all are taking the risk by displaying character NO ONE in the MSM or establishment has in the past 10 years– namely, integrity, honesty, professionalism, and, most importantly, patriotism. Thank you for keeping the information flowing and the pressure mounting.

Cut down your power bill
And turn off the MSM

Then, send in some of the savings to here .
