Lots of talk online today about who’s to blame for the Xmas Day “terrorist” plot in Detroit. Tough talk and finger pointing by Obama, Gordon Brown and some at the EU (who controls a lot of airport security).

Now, we come back to accountability (in several ways).

Will this make Obama change how he sells the “terrorist” brand to the public? No.

Is Homeland Security still consulting with the Israelis on airport screening?

Think about the current lines you face when going thru airport security. Obama says he’ll do “anything it takes to protect the public.”

Does this mean military searches at ALL airports? A lot of people armchair quarterback on this and say, great idea. Yet, do they seriously think thru all the implications of that?

Some critics say, Israelis put up with this “siege mentality” 24/7. So why should Americans be any different (if you really want security)?

A key element in Israeli screening: unpredictability. Following no apparent pattern as you screen people. Looking at body language and other indirect signs. If you have nothing to hide and yet you’re questioned by Homeland Security, how will you deal with that? Will you just smile and say, anything for the Homeland?

Also, since we’re essentially broke, how will Obama pay for this? There are ways to hide programs in the back of some other bill that most people won’t catch. (Except for the C-SPAN junkies who stay up all night and online).

Lots of tough talk. But a prediction. When push comes to shove, I don’t think most people will put up with it. Maybe THIS then is the Turning Point?

Sibel, I don’t know how much it would cost or how hard it is, but if you could develop a mobile version of BFP that would be cool. The MSM has figured this out, and the ability to read on a cell phone is helpful.

The people are numbed by the corruption, yet have not figured out what to do about it. Petition a corrupt government for redress of grievances? I don’t think so. Expect a core of ethical people to correct the abuse? It’s not happening.

We are approaching the moment when the people will have nothing left to lose and will either lay down and die or rise up and fight for their rights and their constitution. What will bring this moment to the present is the economic collapse which we are not experiencing. It is unstoppable and the shadow government is preparing for some sort of “new world order”. Something’s gotta give.

The curtain has been pulled back and they have no where to hide, yet the lying and stealing goes on with impunity and they have gotten away with it – look at the “financial bailout” which sent countless billions to the slackers who tanked the economy… or the health care “solution” which is forcing people under penalty of law to purchase rip off insurance from the very cause of the high cost of health care – Insurance parasites. Or the orwellian escalation of the AfPak war chasing after a rag tag bunch of terrorists our CIA created – a MIC wetdream.

The actions of these criminals is been increasing being done in the open since especially since the 9/11 magic show where the executed their coup d’etat completely taking over the treasury, the military and the government for their own hegominic interests.

And Obama is mouthing the “get the terrorists” distraction song.
