a very important story to follow, related to the whole debate on “technocratic governance” and of course, a reminder to those fans of The Wire that this stuff happens in real life: http://www.villagevoice.com/2012-03-07/news/the-nypd-tapes-confirmed/

‘Pakistan’s Militant Soul Threatens to Implode’ I recently learned something of history in a firsthand manner regarding Pakistan. I was performing with an M.D. in public health who grew up in a village in Bengal near Dakah. He was lamenting the death of 2 million Bengali’s at the hand of West Pakistan, who wanted to force East Pakistan to join after Partition which occurred much earlier, but left deep scars. This modern holocaust tragedy occurred and is remembered from February 21, 1971. Are we witnessing the collective karma of Pakistan from their murder of these innocents?
