Interesting debate with Rick Rozoff. He did great and was very knowledgeable, though I wish he would have referenced your book and explained what NATO is doing with heroin and extremist groups. He did actually make the point that NATO is just siding with one bad group against another, for our its own geo-political purposes. But I think adding the layer of completely dastardly deeds, such as funding religious extremists and dealing drugs, could have made for some awkward responses. (I did love it when his opponent finally decided to “take a pass”.)

I like Ron Paul in a lot of ways, I did go to the John Birch Society book store… well about 20 years ago,, My grandma told me that I should go down there, cause our fambly was totally democrat, and liberal… I guess, though to tell the truth, we were conservative enough.
But so.. I went to the JBS bookstore, and they had lots of books, and one of the things were the Ron Paul for congress, and his schpeal… and I like it at the time… he does make alot of sense!
Howsoever… I don’t agree with his take on the social security issue!!!
We could agree on many an issue Ron, but you better not take away the only thing that about a millions of us survive on, that we paid into, that we banked on, to get in our old age!!
Ron Paul better take a tack to change his position on that issue, or he is shit!! He should tack back to the real populist concerns, he would have been a contender I think, though old and … a wee bit decrepit…
I don’t know what your opinion is of social security or medicare, or what you think about these issues..
But I think you are the best, and I think you are on a same page with me, we must take care of our people
even though many of them don’t deserve it, or oh well, we might find some other type of deal, like… euthanasia… oh don’t look at me like that… you know that it is coming… or even… that there is a kind of milder form of it to do with the racial aspect…. and/or certain other cleanup operations… to do away with the unwanted kind of people/mindsets/personality types…
Got to get rid of them .

Ron Paul just doesn”t have the moxie, nor does he really stand for what I stand for… which is: that the people that are the people…. should be the people…. The peeps better think how that they can be…. can BEE! like in to be or not to be…!

I’m all in favor of social security and medicare for all too. That’s infrastructure. No private prisons.
Four years ago I had another candidate in mind – Nader – but was starting to appreciate Ron Paul with some of the same caveats you are mentioning now.
This time around, I’m trying to learn more about Paul’s ideas because he’s the one out there with rational thoughts about foreign policy and the drug war. I enjoy listening to him talk and like what he’s doing to the R’s – getting more libertarian minded folks involved in there.
And I agree and join in your praise for the Queen Be here. Quite nice to have such a role model – even if we aren’t as courageous yet.

I feel that this site under Sibel, can be better than other sites, visavise FDL, because whereas the latter is wonderful, and is, I guess a kind of magazine of many diverse elements… anybody who can join and make a post or comment, and that is the greatness of it. I got canned and banned after about oh… 500 posts… so they didn’t ban me for quite a while, then I did start drinking again, so I got a little free wheeling, in particular, I took on some of the jackasses… (I think they are… I think they are just too much neoliberal, and way too thin skinned.) and so, I got canned again from the fdl site.
I don’t think Sibel is going to be that thin skinned ever. I don’t mean that anybody should suffer from bad commenting,,, of course not!
But I wonder in the light of the fact that everybody under god’s green earth knows, that we now have something worse than Pravda, for the purveyor of our info… well, go S.
and maybe S’s site will become huge, as a place to agglomerate. Jane’s site is a little too happy with those who are neo liberal, “bake a cookie, ‘oh let’s listen to some sounds… ‘ and trounce the interloper who happens in, with an unfamiliar smell… “.
