Vote rigging. A close friend who is African American cannot vote for 5 years thanks to new voter registration laws passed by Republican Governor Rick Scott in Florida. This gentleman made an error in judgment by working as an unlicensed income tax adjuster. He did a year in prison, successfully completed his parole supervision, filled out paperwork to restore his voting rights, BUT must wait 5 years before being able to vote. This man taught high school, was a all state quarterback, and comes from a highly respected African American
    family in his community.
