Soothing the Beast: Saturday Night BFP-Jamiol Music, Episode 55

Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes – “Wake Up Everybody”

STB_S

We go to Philly for this week's Soothing the Beast BFP/Jamiol music pick and the group is Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes performing their socially conscious 1975 hit Wake Up Everybody. Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes are probably the most-covered Philly soul group in history. The group's repertoire included soul, R&B, doo-wop, and disco. So on this cold January night (at least in my part of the world), kick back and play it loud and...Wake Up Everybody. Enjoy...DJPJ
