Podcast Show #78- US Government Mandatory Vaccination Laws & Giving Up Our Parental Rights

Is it in the best interests of the citizens of this free society, or of public health officials in positions of authority in federal or state government, to use the heel of the boot of the state to crush all dissent to mandatory vaccination laws and force individuals to violate their deeply held conscientious beliefs?
Should we trust government officials who track and hunt children down to ensure compliance with mandatory vaccination laws that are now equating chicken pox with smallpox and hepatitis B with polio?
Why should Americans live in fear of state officials who show up on parents’ doorsteps with subpoenas charging them with child abuse for failing to vaccinate; who strip, handcuff and imprison a teenager for failing to show proof he got a second MMR shot; who deny children the right to go to school? How can the people believe or want to do what public health officials say when they live in fear of them?
Barbara Loe Fisher joins us to discuss these questions, alarming issues, and the right to informed consent as an overarching ethical principle in the practice of medicine for which vaccination should be no exception.
Barbara Loe Fisher is president of the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC), a non-profit charity she co-founded with parents of DPT vaccine injured children in 1982. For the past three decades, she has led a national, grassroots movement and public information campaign to institute vaccine safety reforms and informed consent protections in the public health system. Ms. Fisher is co-author of the seminal book DPT: A Shot in the Dark; author of The Consumer’s Guide to Childhood Vaccines (NVIC 1997) and Vaccines, Autism & Chronic Inflammation: The New Epidemic (2008); editor and video commentator for the NVIC Vaccine E-Newsletter and a blogger at www.VaccineAwakening.blogspot.com.

The EyeOpener- TSA: Tyrants Sucker America

Of all of the myriad agencies, bureaucracies, laws and legislation that have sprung up to oppress the American citizenry in this age of the unending war against an abstract noun, perhaps none have garnered as much ire and opprobrium as the innocuously named Transportation Security Administration.
Originally placed under the Department of Transportation and tasked with securing the nation’s transportation system from future attacks, TSA, in just a matter of months, was transitioned into the newly-created Department of Fatherland Security and began turning the relatively benign process of clearing airport security into an ordeal that traumatizes and humiliates virtually everyone who has to endure it. Taking advantage of the general public’s ignorance of their rights in the legally ambiguous airport screening areas and the 21st century American citizenry’s newfound penchant for prostrating themselves before anyone with a badge and a uniform, the TSA quickly began positioning itself as the most totalitarian agency in the entire complex of the American security establishment.
This is our EyeOpener Report by James Corbett presenting TSA-Tyrants Sucker America, and examining the gross abuses of human dignity that the agency engages in every day, the reprehensible nature of its history of lies to the American people, and its utter failure to perform any of the tasks that it has been assigned.

House of Mirrors Part I- Mystical Covert Agendas
As the U.S. becomes more and more the kind of country it has traditionally opposed, the answer to where we are headed may lie more in the arcane traditions of a dim past than in a bright future.
“‘We’re the dark matter. We’re the force that orders the universe but can’t be seen,’ a strapping Navy SEAL, speaking on condition of anonymity, said in describing his unit.”
If anyone (correctly) thought that the war on terror and Washington’s response to it had taken on a fantastical otherworldly quality, this recent quote on the front page of the Washington Post seemed to confirm it.
Following 9/11the elected government of the United States of America delivered the country to a whole department (of Homeland Security) dedicated to expanding the government’s fear of darkness into everybody’s life (remember the 2003 duct tape and plastic sheeting craze?) Now we also have a top secret military operation known as the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) that thinks it is the dark.
Begun as a modest hostage rescue team, JSOC has morphed into a veritable heart of darkness, with the power to murder at will and with immunity from American legal jurisdiction (which apparently still maintains that such assassinations are illegal).
Even within the military, JSOC operates as a “Stovepipe,” operation, meaning that it operates completely in the black, reports to no one and continues to employ rogue ex-CIA professionals such as indicted Iran Contra operative Dewey Clarridge. The Navy Seal Team that took out Osama bin Laden operated under JSOC. Retired military personnel refer to JSOC as “Murder, Incorporated” and the “most dangerous people on the face of the earth.”
But if JSOC’s reputation for secrecy, vengeance and death from above can’t be explained from within the context of traditional U.S. military operations or U.S. law, then what set of rules is it operating from? Or is it simply that the traditions of rationalism and law that most Americans took for granted about the United States are subject to deeper, religious, or perhaps even mystical rules, whose anachronistic logic has found a renewed acceptance in an irrational world of personal, private and holy war?
No one less than the legendary Cold Warrior, Time Magazine’s Henry Luce understood that his passion for defeating Communism constituted “a declaration of private war,” which, in citing the example of the privateer Sir Francis Drake made it not only “unlawful,” but “probably mad.” As the child of American missionaries, Luce was committed to the militant spread of Christian Capitalism while viewing its ultimate triumph over the world as an inevitable consequence of God’s will.
Known to its 19th century advocates as mystical imperialism, the term can be traced to both Britain and Russia’s 19th century efforts to establish dominion through a mix of imperialism and Christian zeal. The competition came to a dead stop in Afghanistan with the end of the Great Game in 1907. The Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 complicated matters by infusing a heavy dose of socialist realism. But with the advent of the Cold War and the mysterious and intoxicating god-like qualities inherent in nuclear weapons, a new iteration of mystical imperialism came into being. Read more
Notes from the Star Chamber-Blacklisting in the Digital Age
US Prepares to Censor Internet Access While Urging Internet Freedom for the Rest of the World!
At the London Conference on Cyberspace, November 1-2, Vice President Joe Biden urged other nations to protect internet freedom of expression.
“Biden did not name countries he felt were offenders. But he criticized the efforts of some nations pursuing an “international legal instrument that would lead to exclusive government control over Internet resources, institutions and content and national barriers on the free flow of information online.” (PCWorld)
Meanwhile, back in the US, Congress was preparing to pass a law granting extraordinary powers to censor the internet. The proposed law, described as “the Great Firewall of America,” has the support of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who also favors Internet freedom for other countries. If the US government still had any credibility on this issue after banning access to websites posting leaked cables, the latest hypocrisy should have killed it.
Last week, Representatives Lamar Smith (R-TX), John Conyers (D-MI), Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) and Howard Berman (D-CA) introduced a House bill called the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA). A Senate version, called the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA), had been introduced last May by Senators Patrick Leahy (D-VT), Orrin Hatch (R-UT), and Charles Grassley (R-IA). The bills propose to let the federal government block public access to websites accused of violating intellectual property rights. They would also require Internet access providers, search engines and payment providers to deny services to websites upon request from rights holders.
A devil in the lack of details
The bills have been criticized for their vague language and lack of due process, making them ripe for abuses.
“Imagine a world in which any intellectual property holder can, without ever appearing before a judge or setting foot in a courtroom, shut down any website’s online advertising programs and block access to credit card payments. The credit card processors and the advertising networks would be required to take quick action against the named website; only the filing of a “counter notification” by the website could get service restored.
Finally, and for good measure, Internet service providers and payment processors get the green light to simply block access to sites on their own volition—no content owner notification even needed. So long as they believe the site is “dedicated to the theft of US property,” Internet providers and payment processors can’t be sued. (ArsTechnica)”
Such a law could be used to chill criticism of corporate and government policies. Read more
Police State: Time to Bring Back the Pigeons & Falcons!
The Only Way to Circumvent NSA, DHS, FBI & the Rest
Now it is confirmed and official: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirms that it intends to develop guidelines for how officials go about collecting intelligence from the sites. Yes. The Department of Homeland Security is not going to take a second seat to the FBI or NSA. It is flexing its muscles. It is stomping its feet, and it is determined to get its way. It is all set and ready to create its own policies and operations for monitoring social network media outlets such as Twitter and Facebook:
Caryn Wagner, undersecretary of the DHS, told an audience Monday at the National Symposium on Homeland Security and Defense in Colorado Springs that the agency began to draw up guidelines for monitoring social networking sites after the sites were heavily used during government uprisings in the Middle East and North Africa this year.
According to an Associated Press report Tuesday, federal agents are still mulling over how to best pull intelligence from social media sites and determine whether it is valid or Web chatter.”We’re still trying to figure out how you use things like Twitter as a source,” said Wagner, according to the AP report. “How do you establish trends and how do you then capture that in an intelligence product?”
…
Oh, let’s add this idiotic comment by Dan Olds, an analyst with the Gabriel Consulting Group as well:
“Some users might be disturbed, but what would they expect?” Olds asked. “The info they post online is essentially in the public domain in most cases and it’s easy to understand why the government would look for any edge they can find vs. terrorists.”
…
Please, someone contact this ‘yoyo’ and ask him: Since when does the government distinguish between public domain, private and those that fall in the middle? Is he high on something? Or maybe shows signs of an onset of dementia? Hello? Read more
On Beating the MSM & Pseudo Alternatives when it Comes to the Truth
On Langley’s Boys & Girls in the Media
Early this morning, even before my second cup of coffee, I came across this almost ‘back-page’ report by the media:
Taliban Did Not Kill Afghan President’s Brother: NATO
The man who killed the influential half brother of Afghan President Hamid Karzai three months ago carried out the attack for personal reasons and was not a Taliban fighter, a senior NATO official said Saturday.
“It was a murder, not an assassination,” the NATO official said of Karzai’s killing, in a briefing to unveil NATO statistics showing a fall in Taliban attacks. “It wasn’t politically motivated and it wasn’t an insurgent masterstroke.”
…
Well, we at Boiling Frogs Post did not need a half-baked NATO report, still far from being factual, to arrive at that conclusion. Three months ago I wrote the following commentary report on Ahmed Wali Karzai’s assassination:
The Assassination of Afghan Kingpin Karzai: A Case of CIA Liabilities Exceeding Its Asset?
There is no point in wasting too many words and space rehashing what every media outlet has been reporting and recounting on the assassination of Afghan Heroin Kingpin Ahmed Wali Karzai. The US media began reporting on the Kingpin, his heroin network and operations, his shady deals and even shadier connections over two years ago. This is how it always goes when the relationship between Kingpins like Karzai starts souring with their masters in Langley…
Then, right after that commentary, no longer able to stand the mainstream and pseudo alternative media’s nonstop spreading of that fantastical script made-up by Langley, I wrote my next analysis of the likely story:
Gimme a Break: The CIA Asset Turned Taliban Bodyguard Assassin?!
The entire scenario of a Taliban-Turned confidante bodyguard didn’t sit well with me; way too Langley. When you get a chance read a bit about the assassination of Vietnam’s Diem Brothers, and then you’ll understand what I mean when I say ‘Too Langley.’
Anyhow, this morning I read the following headline: Bodyguard Who Killed Karzai’s Brother Was Trusted CIA Contact : Read more
The Bearer of Bad News, Ugly Truths &Uncomfortable Realities
“We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth… For my part, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst; and to provide for it.” - Patrick Henry
Yesterday I came across a video clip depicting a gruesome hospital scene in Libya. I watched the video, and then watched it again. The children in a literal blood bath; torn limbs and ripped bodies. The excruciating pain. The ear-scratching wailings. The realities of a war. Not a declared war or a justified one. Not one waged in self defense or induced by any conceivable necessity. More like a one-sided assault waged by a big fat bully with heavy bats and sticks against unarmed little ones- an assault inside the victims’ home after a forceful break in. I believe this pretty much sums up the ugly truth depicted in the video clip – representative of thousands more that were never filmed and distributed.
I saved the video. I made a note. I thought about publishing it here at Boiling Frogs Post. But then I paused. I considered the reaction; at least the reaction of the majority. The same ole common reaction to be expected whenever ugly truths and uncomfortable realities are presented. The despise and hatred targeted at the bearer of the bad news and the illustrators of the ugly truths.
It was only a pause; a momentary pause. The quick recovery came with the reminder of why this website came about and what it really is about. It has been the media’s modus operandi to pass when it comes to ugly truths not easily digestible by the majority. It’s been the pseudo alternatives’ practice to avoid uncomfortable realities most can’t stomach… or don’t want to stomach…or maybe have never been forced to stomach.
I am sharing this clip with you here at Boiling Frogs Post as the bearer of uncomfortable realities and ugly truths. I am not attaching any warning notes on the graphic nature or disturbing effects of this clip. It is the truth; the ugly truth. This is reality; the uncomfortable kind. This happens to be an ugly truth of our own making; it is our ugly truth. It certainly is the reality of what we have become as uncomfortable as it may be. And it is way past time for us to face this ugly truth and uncomfortable reality, and own up to it – because the alternative is worse for us, and far worse for ‘our’ little victims.

State’s Civilians Sponsored Terrorism- Terrorists ‘R’ Us?
State Sponsored Terrorism when the State is of the People
“A terrorist is someone who has a bomb but doesn’t have an Air Force” - William Blum
In our nation of ‘national security’, where everything is re-defined and justified by the notion of ‘fighting terrorism’, it would be only appropriate to revisit and examine the term ‘terrorism,’ and then go a few steps further and look into its implications.
Almost everyone thinks that they know what ‘terrorism’ is or what constitutes terrorism. There are hundreds of definitions for terrorism varied by cultural, sub-cultural, national, linguistic, political, historical, and numerous other interpretations, perceptions, factors and circumstances. I am going to use the general definition of terrorism under U.S. Law: Premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by sub-national groups or clandestine agents.
There is another type of ‘terrorism’ with a slightly different definition which was not commonly used until recently, when our nation’s status changed to a ‘national security’ state: State Sponsored Terrorism. In general state sponsored terrorism refers to acts of terrorism conducted by a state against a foreign state or people. It can also refer to widespread acts of violence by a state against its own people. In February 2011 I wrote a commentary on the Supreme Court decision which upheld the broad application of a federal law making it a crime to provide “material support” to designated “foreign terrorist organizations” (FTOs), and I wrote: Read more
Podcast Show #47

Lew Rockwell, founder and Chairman of the Ludwig von Mises Institute, joins us to discuss the constitutional rule and the roll back of our liberties and constitutional rights during the past decade, the rise of the police state, the PATRIOT ACT and our tyrannical government’s exemption from the rule of law domestically and internationally, our current economic model based on corporate fascism, and the need for ideological enlightenment. He talks about Eisenhower and how despite his commonly remembered speech warning against “unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex,” he himself entrenched this very machinery in American life, and forged a program for the permanent militarization of our country. Mr. Rockwell talks about the Tea Party, and voices his criticism of their tendencies toward inconsistency, especially on the military and the issue of war, xenophobia, and on favoring national IDs, John Maynard Keynes and his admiration of the Nazi economic program, and more!
Lew Rockwell is a libertarian political commentator, activist, author, and founder and chairman of the Ludwig von Mises Institute. He served as Ron Paul’s congressional chief of staff between 1978 and 1982. His website, lewrockwell.com, features a selection of articles, including opposition to war and imperialism. Mr. Rockwell is the author of Man, Economy, and Liberty: Essays in Honor of Murray N. Rothbard with Walter Block, and The Left, The Right, and The State.
